I've got amazing footages from the 5 days travel in East Coast US. Really hope to share with you guys
I think somehow, this could be a start point of my video content making, well, hobby. I've tried a travel video in SF, and turn out it works fine concerning I shot all the footages with only an iphone 8p and a gimbal for mobile. That's when I'm really shocked not only by the power of filmmaking without using those ridiculously expensive gears, but just some feasible devices instead, like your iphone, but also the joy I got from it. When you're trying to shoot something as you travel, you'll defintelly gain deeper insight on everything that's happening around you. You'll see things differently, you'll value every single moment around you. When you're done shooting and return home, checking the silhouette of every beam of light, every subtle things you captured, you know that trip is not just several discrete photos on your smartphone album, it's a marker of your life.
(BTW I think it's really ironic that we EECS students can actually build those imaging devices yet can't afford them.)
I'll share my videos/photos/photography&videography notes on this website.
